So this image has been in the making for a while. If anyone see's my scraps you'll know that I uploaded a WIP of this.
See... here's the deal. I got a new HP Scanner for my birthday, so I was testing it out using this picture. Let's just say I wasn't a fan of the scanning quality. So I came up with an idea. Switch out my HP and my Epson scanners. The HP was a $100 scanner while the Epson was a $200 scanner. And it had much better quality. So for me the choice was obvious. I gave my mom the HP because she doesn't use the canner as much as I do.
So about this picture, its just somethign that popped up into my head one day. So I decided to draw it. I spent a lot of time working on it. I don't know how much but it was a lot.
While I was working on this I kept getting hounded by my mom to use my new scanner.
She doesn't understand the virtue of patience.
Why five minutes? Simple. There is going to be a fight. So I guess you can call this an illustration from my story. I like my story, maybe I should take the time to write it out one of these days. D: And one five minutes to kick ass in a fight? Autumn and Hidou must be quite the fighting team.

I love the colours you've used... They're gorgeous and really work well together and give a mood to the picture.
You've done a really good job with the hand, as hands are really hard to draw. Personally, I think the little finger should be a bit smaller, but she could just have a really long little finger.
What are you using to colour? It looks to me as if whatever you're using isn't particuarly high quality and leaves a veyr rough effect.
However, this could be what you're going for, and I see no problem with it.
