Tanjoubi omedetou, Kushina.

誕生日おめでとう。

"Happy Birthday, Kushina"

Today is July 10th, so that means its Uzumaki Kushina's birthday. She's one of my favorite characters in Naruto, so I always wanted to draw her. And I always wanted to draw her with Namikaze Minato, my favorite character EVERRR, who is Kushina's husband.

So I started to make this, I am so glad I used a high quality paper, because I was having a bitch of a time. If I was using my normal paper it would have been shredded to pieces.

It was really fun coming up with the color for Kushina's hair. I don't have a marker that even got close to matching the tone so I kept mixing and matching all sorts of reds before I came up with using R29 copic as a base color, then using E04 on top of it.

But I'm happy about this drawing! I may keep updating it, and possibly add in a background. However, I have already worked on this for hours and hours, and I wanted to get this up today since its Kushina's birthday.
