Basically the reasoning behind it is...sometimes the forums can be a bit "intimidating" (quote from :iconastralseed: one of the members of the investigation team) and sometimes it's easier to have a question answered if you remain anonymous. This way you can ask your questions, choose to remain anonymous if you'd like and have a few people search for your answers and give you the best possible answer they can 
I was a bit busy last week, and I am still catching up on comments and thanking everyone for the favs, so if you haven't received a reply yet, hang in there I promises you will get one. I would also like to make note that my group contest is officially open for submissions and I will be adding some new prizes to the list later on today so be sure to check it out and enter.

however, i'd like to ask you why you don't browse the fanart gallery too. there are so many beautiful fanarts to wonderful animes like sailor moon or madoka magica! *___*
i also don't understand why dA is seperating these categories cause it's a bit confusing. i know many artists who put their sailor moon fanarts to manga/anime although it's not right.
i can't remember where i read that all fanarts go to the fanart category no matter in which style they are drawn.
maybe the definition should be clearer...
i also saw DDs which were in the wrong category, e.g. a madoka magica fanart featured by
The only reason you will ever see fanart in my features, is because I had absolutely no idea that it was fanart, and I thought that it was original.
indeed, it is really confusion since there's no description and the titel "manga/anime" leads to think ALL manga/anime styled works go there.
the reason for suggestions to the wrong CV is because many suggesters only see where the artist had submit their work. so i think it's important to enlighten especially new members.

If I may offer, perhaps one day you can browse through my favorites of the original folder. I've found several beautiful works in the anime&manga category that surely deserve attention. ^^
