Manga/Anime Spotlight is a weekly feature that highlights the different artists across the deviantART's Manga/Anime community, and is a portal to get to know a bit more about them and their works.

This week's feature is futarinokizuna


:bulletgreen:1.) To start off, what is your favorite medium and tools to use?

- for b/w version I always do them manually with maru pen, as for manually I often use SAI and Photoshop CS 3.



:bulletgreen:2.) When you draw, do you plan everything out first, or do you just see where the drawing takes you?

- actually I always have the plan and concept but I often change the plan on halfway. Always like that I dunno why lol. Talk about inconsistency



:bulletgreen:3.) On average, how long do you spend on a drawing?

- It's varied, but it's always more than 6hours (if it's not doodle)



:bulletgreen:4.) When did you first start drawing, and what made you start to draw in the manga/anime style?

- My first one was in 2002, but I started drawing seriously in 2007.  Such as why I started manga/anime style because I once dreamed making my own comic and anime when I started watching Inuyasha (which is I have made the comic but the anime not yet) and funny fact, I don't even know the word "anime/manga" until 2007.



:bulletgreen:5.) What are your inspirations for drawing?

- Everything is. I can't tell the details since there are so, so many ^^; sometimes my past drawings can be my inspiration too :)



:bulletgreen:6.) Do you have any artists that you look up to?

- of course yes! Jun Mochizuki, Sphere, Daisuke Morikawa, Makoto Shinkai, Oh!Great, shilin myhilary Namie-kun Cushart JonasDeRo hgjart kidchan and many people I forgot to mention >_<



:bulletgreen:7.) Out of the works in your gallery, what are your five favorite pieces?

:bulletgreen:8.) Do you have any tips for young aspiring artists?

- Always be confident, be hard-working, be consistent, be grateful, be nice.



:bulletgreen:9.) Are there any other types of art that enjoy?

- I enjoy most types of arts except literatures. I'm not good at words.



:bulletgreen:10.) Is there anything else that you would like to add?

- Don't forget, 1% talent, 99% hard work!!
